• We accept cars, trucks, vans, boats, R/V's and heavy equipment.

• Can I donate a vehicle that has not run in years?
• Yes, we accept vehicles running or not.

• Is my donation tax deductible?
• Yes, America Can! is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit corporation and donations are tax deductible.

• How much can I deduct from my taxes after I donate a vehicle?
• According to the IRS tax laws, your tax deduction is based on what the car sells for. Please know we will do all we can in accordance with tax laws to get you the highest deduction possible.
  

• What do I need to do to donate my vehicle?
• Simply fill out our online donation form, or call us toll free at 866-835-KIDS.

• What if I cannot find my title?
• If you are unable to locate your title please call us at 1-866-835-KIDS. Our staff can help you with the information you need to get your title.

• How long will it take to pick up my vehicle?
• We will contact you within 24 hours to set up a convenient pick up time for you. In some cases we can pick up your donation within the same day.

• How will the car be picked up?
• We will send a professionally licensed, bonded and insured tow service to the location of the vehicle.

• Where do you pick up cars?
• We currently pick up cars throughout US. Please call us at 1-866-835-KIDS or e-mail us at americacaninfo@texascarsforkids.org to schedule a pick up of your vehicle.

• Does the vehicle title get transferred out of my name?
• Yes. Cars For Kids is just one of a few car donation programs that has a dealer`s license. With this license, we are able to transfer the title out of the donor`s name in accordance with the state laws.

• Where does my car go after I donate it?
• Cars are sold at public auctions. 100% of net proceeds go to the kids.

• Will there be any cost to me?
• No, America Can! will pay the cost to tow your vehicle.
